Vanilla planifolia is a species of vanilla orchid. It is native to Mexico, the Caribbean, northern South America, and Central America, and is one of the primary sources for vanilla flavouring, due to its high vanillin content. Common names are flat-leaved vanilla,[2] and West Indian vanilla (also used for the Pompona vanilla, V. pompona). Often, it is simply referred to as "the vanilla". It was first scientifically named in 1808.

Many people like the distinctive taste and aroma of vanilla because vanilla extract is known as a source of fragrance ingredients in foods, beverages, perfumes, aromatherapy, and cosmetics. Planifolia Vanilla beans are native to Indonesia, especially planted directly in Papua, Indonesia and always experience a harvest period with a yield of 2-3 tons/month.
Planifolia Vanilla Beans luxury grade has very good characteristics compared to other planifolia grades. Has a size of 17-23 cm (size can be requested), Moisture 30-35% (very juicy and oily), has a vanillin level >2% so that the aroma and taste are sweet, smokey, woody, and full-bodied flavor profile is very strong.
The vanilla cultivation process is carried out by picking ripe vanilla pods with yellow indications after which they are processed by sun drying and curing process, grade & length sorting to produce good vanilla beans. Each 1 kg of black or dark brown vanilla is packaged using a vacuum sealed plastic bag or wax paper (you can request as desired). The shelf life of vanilla is <2 years.
