Manganese hydroxide is a white substance with hexagonal crystal form. Chemical formula: Mn(OH)2. The relative density is 3.258. Used as antioxidant to preserve various oils, fats and food items by retarding their oxidative deteriation. It is used in formulating vanish, lacquar, resin and oil field additives.
