When casing equipped with Solid Body Low Torque Roller Centralizer runs into the deviated or horizontal hole, sliding friction between the casing and the borehole is converted into rolling friction. In case of irregular hole diameter, the borehole wall has an impact force on the spiral centralizer during running casings, the use of rollers reduce this impact.

As one useful cement tool, rigid centralizer enables casing run easily in wellbore with its shape of stream-lined. There are two kinds of rigid centralizer available: spiral blade rigid centralizer and straight blade centralizer.
The material for both kinds of centralizers can be cast steel or cast aluminum.
