AKD PLUS- 15 is a reactive size based on alkyl ketene dimer. It is stabilized with cationic polymer and finely emulsified, contains a higher alkyl ketene dimer content.
Features
- Reduce the likelihood of size reversion and increase sizing performance for paper and paper board at neutral/ alkaline conditions
- With low viscosity and cationic charge, it is easily dispersed and directly reacted with cellulose fiber for better sizing degree. It can be compatible with almost retention aid systems applied in paper mills
- Maximum sizing effiency is only reached together with a good retention system which can also improve fiber, fiber retention and dewatering as well
DAVEX MK 517(Dry Strength Agents) is an amphoteric polyacrylamide copolymer. As dry strength agent, Davex MK517 increases internal bonding by the hydrogen bond and ionic bond with cellulose and hemicellulose.
DAVEK MK can be used widely for weak acid papers, neutral paper, paperboard, fine papers and coating papers
A liquid cationic starch for wet- end application, specially developed as retention and drainage aid as well as a dry strenght additive for the paper industry. This ready- for- use cationic starch solution is easily diluted with water and can be used in a wide rage of wet- end chemical processes commonly found in the tissue industry today.
Application: Prior to adding to the paper machine system. dilute CSL at ~1 part CSL to 10 parts waters/ Entrance to the stuff box/ Point of addition as retention or drainage additive: before or after the pressure screen
