The tea leaves are harvested and then fully oxidized to allow the natural and robust flavors to emerge. Once they are fully oxidized they are fired to stop the oxidization process.

This tea comes from selected tea leaves produced from a clone of camellia sinensis from Yabukita Tea which is grown in the Rengganis mountains of Jember, (Gambier and Argopuro mountain areas) East Java at an altitude of 950 - 1200 m above sea level processed by panning process on the same day which means without going through an enzymatic oxidation process, making the content of anti-oxidants and other useful substances well maintained.
