The Danfoss SM-185S4VC is a hermetic scroll compressor

1. Compressor Type and Technology:

Scroll Compressor: The SM-185S4VC utilizes scroll technology, which involves two intermeshing spiral-shaped scrolls one stationary and one orbiting. This design offers several advantages:
High Efficiency: Continuous compression process minimizes re-expansion losses.

R22: The SM-185S4VC is designed to operate with R22 refrigerant. It can also be used with R417A-160SZ.
Mineral Oil (160P): It is charged with mineral oil, specifically 160P, which is compatible with R22.
