Guar Gum Powder
It is generally preferred as a thickener or stabilizer in the cosmetic industry. Natural Xanthan Gum Powder is also used as a rheology modifier and has greater clarity and viscosity than regular Xanthan Gum.
With the help of xanthan gum powder, you can manufacture a wide range of gels, lotions, and creams. It is preferred in skin care products as well as it is non-comedogenic i.e. it does not clog skin pores. It is from the dehulled endosperm of the edible legume seeds of Trigonella foenum-graecum. The processing to manufacture the dry powder we are familiar with is minimal. Once the hulls and endosperm are removed from the seeds, they are washed to reduce protein content.

It is extracted from sesbania seeds which originated from India. The sesbania gum powder is white loose milky powder which is soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol, ketones, ethers and other organic solvents. Sesbania gum powder can be dispersed in cold water to form a viscous solution. The viscosity of sesbania gum powder is 5-10 times higher than natural plant gum, sodium alginate.
It is a purified flour natural gelling agent made from the endosperm of cassia tora seeds or cassia obtusifolia. The powder is used for industrial as well as food applications as an emulsifier, thickener, texturizer, foam stabilizer and moisture retention agent.

Gum is derived from guar seeds or cyamopsis tetragonoloba termed as Guar Gum. Guar Gum can also be termed as guaran. These seeds have high low-shear viscosity as evaluated with other hydrocolloids like (locust bean gum). Guar Gums are effective thickeners and stabilizers.
