Production process
Semi coke is a new type of carbon material obtained by pyrolysis of high-quality Jurassic coal blocks abundant in Shenfu coalfield under medium and low temperature conditions to precipitate coal tar and gas.

Application
It is widely used in chemical industry, metallurgical industry, gas-making industry, etc.; It is used to produce calcium carbide, ferroalloy, ferrosilicon, silicon carbide, silicomanganese, fertilizer, etc.

It has   became an irreplaceable carbon materials. Semi-coke can completely replace the general coke, and the quality is superior to a number of standards of the national metallurgical coke, coke and ferroalloy coke.
So semi coke has higher application value in the improvement of downstream product's quality level, energy conservation, reduction of production cost, increase production etc..

Semi coke also can be used for indoor heat preservation, home cooking, fireplace, small boiler and agricultural production of dry industry.
In addition, the application of semi coke in reducing agents, adsorption materials, blast furnaces and other fields is also expanding. Especially in the carbonaceous reducing agent has unique performance,  economic advantage is very obvious.

Advantages of semi coke than Met Coke in production of Ferro-alloy smelting as deoxidizer:
1.Semi Coke could improve the quality of the ferroalloy significantly (especially low aluminum alloy Al2O3 0.1%).
2.Semi Coke could reduce unit electricity consumption significantly (nearly save more than 1000 KWHR, that means 8-10%).
3.Semi coke could lower the cost of raw material. Although the price of semi coke and coke is similar, but it's far cheaper than charcoal and pet-coke.
4.It's very simple to replace coke, pet-coke and charcoal with semi coke. And it's no need to upgrade your equipment, the operation is easy and process is simple.
