Indonesia is one of the best coffee producing countries with unique quality and taste, and Mandailing coffee is one of them. This type of coffee comes from an area called Mandailing. The name of this type of coffee is one of the names of coffee which is quite famous in the area around Lake Toba.

This type of coffee is planted in volcanic soil with a high enough height and is located in the Lake Toba Mandailing region. With a high enough height, especially in the Mandailing region, this type of coffee is famous for its unique taste. This type of Mandailing Toba coffee is one type of coffee that is well known, especially in the Mandailing area and is not surprising when this coffee is popular in other regions.

Basically this type of coffee comes from its own area such as Lintong Arabica, Arabica Brastagi, Gayica Arabica and Sidikalang Arabica. If viewed from its type, Gayo coffee is famous for its scent that is quite fragrant while the type of Lintong arabica coffee is a type of coffee with a unique taste.

This type of Mandailing coffee is a mixture of types of Lintong Arabica coffee with Gayo Arabica coffee types. When viewed from the first place this coffee was brought by the Dutch people was around the year 1699. The area called Pakantan Subdistrict was one of the first Arabica coffee plantation areas in Sumatra. At that time, this type of Arabica coffee was the first coffee planted in the area of Mandailing Natal and brought to the area of North Tapanuli and the highlands of Gayo (Central Aceh).

This Mandailing Arabica coffee type has been known in the world since 1878. This coffee is also known to grow well at an altitude of 1200 feet above sea level. For now, this type of coffee is in the Gayo Highlands and Lintong Nihuta. Indonesian coffee types Mandailing Lake Toba has become its own brand, especially in this region.
