Fibc Baffle Bag

The Q or Baffle Bag are constructed with internal baffles. These are polypropylene baffles sewn across the four corners of the bag. They help in distributing the materials more evenly during filling. Moreover, they prevent the outward bulging of the bags during transportation. Since baffle bags are cubical in shape, they need less storage space and reduce transportation costs compared to regular big bags.

A Baffle FIBC, also known as a Baffle Bulk Bag or a Baffle Container, is a flexible intermediate bulk container (FIBC) designed with internal baffles or partitions. These baffles help distribute the weight of the contents evenly within the bag, prevent the contents from shifting or settling, and improve stability when the bag is transported or handled.

Baffle FIBCs are commonly used for storing and transporting dry, flowable materials such as grains, powders, and pellets. They are often used in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and agriculture industries and in other industries where dry bulk materials are handled.

Baffle bags are manufactured with sewing inner baffles across the corners of the four panels of the FIBCs to prevent distortion or Swelling and to ensure the square or the rectangular shape of the FIBCs during transportation or storage. These baffles are manufactured accurately to allow the material to flow into the corners of the bag resulting in less storage space occupied and decreased transportation costs up to 30% in comparison with a standard big bag.

A baffle or Q-type FIBCs can be coated or uncoated and comes with an optional PE liner inside. Baffle bag gives better stability and improved loading efficiency of containers and trucks

Type C FIBCs refer to the class of FIBCs that actually protects against dangerous static discharges through grounding of the bag itself during the filing and discharging processes. These bags are safe when grounded because any electrostatic potential that builds up as a result of rapid filling or discharging quickly and safely exits the bag to ground via the network of conductive fibers woven into the fabric of the bag.
