Kelly bar is the key part of a drilling machine, and its quality directly affects the performance of the whole machine. The main purpose of kelly bar is to transfer the torque of rotary drive and crowd pressure of the crowd system to the drilling tool. Based on the rich manufacturing experience and by absorbing the advanced technology both at home and abroad, we can produce first-class kelly bar which can be compared favorably with the imported ones.

The features of Unimate kelly bar are as follows:
Adopt the advanced technology of 6-key design in the world and standard modular design.
Equipped with advanced processing facilities, workmanship and manufacturing equipments, UNIMATE kelly bar enjoys a low weight, high strength, high straightness of single bar, thinner tube, smaller inter-tube distance and good abrasion resistance.

The raw materials are either imported from Germany like the high abrasion resistance materials, or from Chinese top manufacturer such as the seamless steel tube with alloy. All the tubes made in China are specially made seamless alloy tube, which guarantees the accuracy of the sizes, location, physical properties and easy welding. The small-diameter tubes undergo reheat treatment. The friction kelly bar can be used under full torque.
All the outer keys have undergone special heat treatment; therefore, they possess higher hardness, higher flexibility and excellent welding properties, which provide higher abrasion resistance to the keys.

There are mainly two types of Kelly bars:
1-Interlocking Kelly Bar
2-Friction Kelly Bar

Interlocking Kelly Bar
Interlocking Kelly bars are used with piling rigs for drilling in dense sand and gravel and weak to strong rock. The Interlocking Kelly bars manufactured by Unimate can be fully locked by mechanical locking system on each section. Kelly bars can be equipped with specially designed springs or pressure plates for shock absorbing purpose.

Friction Kelly bars are used with piling rigs for drilling in silt, clay and less dense sand and gravel. The Friction Kelly bars manufactured by Unimate are un-lockable with drive keys on each section. Kelly bars can be equipped with specially designed springs or pressure plates for shock absorbing purpose.

Drilling buckets are mainly used for drilling water-bearing sandy soil, sludge, clay, muddy sub clay, sandy gravel, cobble, and weathered soft formation. The bucket can be designed into cylindrical type and conical type according to bucket diameter, type of drilling rig and soil conditions. The opening and closing device can be operated manually, mechanically or mixed manner. The welding angle of bucket teeth can be designed according to formation conditions.

The bottom cover is made of high-strength Mn plate, and the cutting edge includes single-layer type and double-layer type; the soil inlet also includes single-bottom type and double-bottom type.
Unimate drilling buckets are mainly divided into three types:
1-Clay Drilling Buckets
2-Rock Drilling Buckets
3-Cleaning Buckets

1) Clay Drilling Buckets
There are two categories of clay drilling buckets:
a)Single Cut Clay Bucket
b)Double Cut Clay Bucket
Drilling Diameter Range: 500~2500mm Barrel Length: 1000~1500mm

Main Applications:
i)These buckets are suitable for drilling in clay, silt and loose to medium dense sand and gravel.
ii)Single cut buckets are recommended up to coarse gravel.
iii)Double cut buckets are mainly used for bigger diameter uncased boreholes.
iv)Single bottom buckets are used for clay layer and sticky formation.

2) Rock Drilling Buckets
There are two categories of rock drilling buckets:
a)Single Cut Rock Bucket
b)Double Cut Rock Bucket

Drilling Diameter Range: 500~2500mm Barrel Length: 1000~1500mm

Main Applications:

i) Rock buckets are suitable for drilling in medium to weak rock and in very dense sand and gravel.
ii) Single cut buckets are recommended up to coarse gravel.
iii) Double cut buckets are recommended for secant piles and bigger diameters uncased boreholes.

3) Cleaning Bucket
Cleaning Diameter Range: 500~2500mm
Barrel Length: 1000~1500mm

Drilling Augers
Short augers are mainly divided into the following types:
1-Conical Rock Auger
2-Flat or Butterfly Rock Auger
3-Flat or Butterfly Clay Auger

1) Conical Rock Auger
There are two categories of conical rock augers:
a)Single Cut Auger
b)Double Cut Auger

Drilling Diameter Range: 500~2500mm

Main Applications:
i) Single Cut and Double Cut Augers are suitable for drilling in medium to strong rock (15~60 MPa)
ii) Double Cut are recommended in bigger diameters uncased boreholes

2) Flat or Butterfly Rock Auger:
There are three categories of Flat or Butterfly Rock Auger:
a)Single Cut Auger
b)Double Cut Auger
c)Double Cut Auger without Rock Pilot

Drilling Diameter Range: 500~2500mm

Main Applications:
i) The Single Cut and Double Cut Augers are suitable for drilling in weak fractured rock and very dense sand and gravel (Less than 5 MPa)
ii) Double Cut Augers are mainly used for bigger diameter uncased boreholes and secant piles
iii) Double Cut Auger without rock pilot are recommended for fractured rock or moderately weak to moderately strong rock (5~50 MPa)

3) Flat or Butterfly Clay Auger
There are two categories of Flat or Butterfly Rock Auger:
a)Single Cut Auger

i) The Single Cut and Double Cut Augers are suitable for drilling in clay, silt and loose to medium dense sand and gravel
ii) The Single Cut and Double Cut Augers with side cutters are suitable for drilling in hard clay, silt and medium to high dense sand and gravel
iii) Single Cut Augers are recommended up to coarse gravel

Core barrels are used to cut an annular ring in rock or concrete or reinforced concrete. The centre core of the rock or concrete is usually crushed with rock auger. The most important advantage of a core barrel is that it assists to concentrate the torque and crowd force on a small ring of cutting teeth.

Core barrels are generally divided into four types:
1)Core Barrel with pin teeth (Applicable for cutting in reinforced concrete)
2)Core Barrel with replaceable blocks (Applicable for strong rock up to 100MPa or lightly reinforced concrete)
3)Core Barrel with Bullet Bits ( Applicable for strong rock up to 100MPa or Rock with deep cracks)
4)Core Barrel with Roller Bits (Applicable for very strong rock formations with compressive strength greater than 100MPa)

Cutting Diameter Range: 520~2500mm
