Metal wound gaskets are made by layering V-shaped or W-shaped stainless steel strips with non-metallic fillers and then spirally winding them, with the start and end points spot-welded. They have excellent compressibility and resilience, making them suitable for sealing areas with drastic temperature and pressure fluctuations. They are static sealing elements used in flange connections of pipelines, valves, pumps, heat exchangers, towers, manholes, handholes, etc.

They are widely used in the petrochemical, mechanical, power, metallurgical, shipbuilding, pharmaceutical, atomic energy, and aerospace industries.


The two sides of the metal flat gasket are machined into concentric 90-degree angle wave-shaped serrated grooves with a precision lathe or a special milling machine. Due to the contact with other sealing surfaces being multiple concentric circle line contacts, it has a labyrinth seal effect. According to different media and working conditions, flexible graphite, PTFE, asbestos-free board or other soft materials can be pasted on both sides of the gasket. By taking advantage of the sealing property of the soft covering layer and the strength and elasticity of the metal, a better sealing effect can be achieved.


The metal sheet is pressed into concentric wave patterns. The wave patterns provide mechanical support. The rebound performance depends on the adopted form, metal thickness, wave spacing and wave height. Soft sealing layer materials can be added as needed to make it have better compression and rebound performance. Some soft metals such as flexible graphite, PTFE, non-asbestos board or other soft metals can be pasted on the surface of the gasket to take advantage of the sealing property of the soft covering layer and the strength and good elasticity of the metal to achieve better sealing effect.

Performance features: 1. It has better compression and rebound performance than traditional metal wound gaskets and wave tooth combined gaskets. It has excellent sealing performance for high-temperature and high-pressure working conditions with variable working conditions.
2. It does not damage the sealing surface and is easy to disassemble.
3. The metal wave body part can be reused. This is of great significance for larger gaskets or gaskets made of special materials such as heat exchanger gaskets. It can be reused, which is beneficial for saving materials and reducing costs.


It is made by cutting or stamping pure graphite plates or graphite plates reinforced with metals (such as tooth plates, flat plates, and wire meshes), and it has numerous outstanding sealing properties, such as thermal stability, self-lubrication, corrosion resistance, non-aging, and non-cracking. It can be used stably for a long time under harsh working conditions and requires very little maintenance. It is widely applied and can be processed into inner flange, outer flange, and both inner and outer flanges according to customer requirements to meet different pressure and temperature requirements.


The metal-coated gasket is made by filling with flexible graphite, ceramic fibers, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), asbestos and non-asbestos plates, and then covering with various metal sheets such as stainless steel, galvanized iron, and copper. It is particularly suitable for sealing parts in high-temperature and high-pressure equipment such as heat exchangers and pressure vessels. It effectively prevents the gasket from disintegrating and protects the medium from erosion. At the same time, it enhances the pressure resistance. It is especially suitable for sealing in heat exchangers, gas pipelines, reactors, cylinder heads, and containers with large diameters and high pressure in boilers.


Metal ring gaskets, also known as metal interface gaskets, are made of various materials of metals and are mechanically cut and processed by high-precision CNC lathes. They come in various forms of metal sealing gaskets with small installation areas and high pre-tightening pressure. They are mainly used in the joints of machines in high-temperature, high-pressure and corrosive pipelines (such as steam and petroleum industries, petroleum chemical industries) for towers, tanks, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, valves, cylinder heads, etc.

G1520 is an outstanding asbestos-free gasket with excellent performance. The product is mainly made of aramid fibers and artificial rock wool as the reinforcing materials, and is specially manufactured by the roller pressing method using natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber or nitrile rubber as the adhesive. It has excellent temperature resistance, pressure resistance, oil resistance, airtightness, and compression rebound performance. Pure Teflon gasket is also known as PTFE gasket or Teflon gasket. It is made of flat gaskets, V-shaped gaskets, piston rings, ball valve gaskets and other components by mechanical turning or cutting of polytetrafluoroethylene rods, tubes and plates. Carbon fiber gasket (impregnated with Teflon) is also known as pre-oxygenated fiber gasket. It is made by pre-oxidizing acrylic fiber and then weaving. The surface is treated with polytetrafluoroethylene emulsion and lubricant. It not only has excellent thermal conductivity, wear resistance and chemical stability, but also has high mechanical strength and long service life. It is an ideal material for various dynamic and static seals in industries such as petroleum, metallurgy, chemical engineering, fertilizer production, power generation, coal mining, etc. It is generally used for sealing of valves, pumps, flanges, mixers, mixers, stern shafts of ships, etc. in these industries.

Expanded graphite packing is made by weaving expanded graphite yarns reinforced with cotton yarns through the center. Pure Teflon packing is made by weaving pure polytetrafluoroethylene yarn. It is not impregnated with tetrafluoroethylene emulsion or grease. It has excellent corrosion resistance, good self-lubrication and anti-adhesion properties, and is recommended for use in food industry, medicine, papermaking, chemical fibers, fine chemical industry and other operation occasions where no pollution is allowed.
