Gelidium corneum (Giant Gelidium or Atlantic agar) is a well-known red seaweed harvested for its high-quality agar content. Agar is a mixture of the polysaccharides used in the food industry as a gelling, thickener, clarifying, and stabilizer agent.

Halymenia a genus of a macroscopic red algae that grows in oceans worldwide. Species have been found in cold temperate areas but the highest diversity is found in warm temperate and tropical regions.

Dried Gracilaria Seaweed (Gracilaria Sp) is the primary source of polysaccharides, it is cultivated inside pond with salinity between 10 to 30ppt, it has long (between 20 to 30cm), thin (between 0.5-1.5mm), dense, and lateral branches, it usually has dark green-yellowish color

Sargassum is a genus of brown macroalgae (seaweed) in the order Fucales of the Phaeophyceae class. Numerous species are distributed throughout the temperate and tropical oceans of the world, where they generally inhabit shallow water and coral reefs, and the genus is widely known for its planktonic (free-floating) species.

Dried Spinosum Seaweed (Eucheuma Spinosum) is a primary source of Iota Carrageenans (around 65.75%), it has some similarities with Cottonii Tambalang variant but with thinner branches compared with Cottonii and pointed edges, also color mostly brownish-red and violet-red

Cottonii is a seaweed producing carrageenan that is commonly used as raw material for carrageenan industries. Carrageenan used as additives for the food, beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, paint, textile, and other industries.
