Since last two years, Thermax has seen a growing no. of opportunities in the International Market for various fuels, mainly Biomass based. Therefore, the Power Zdivision of thermax has made a foray into the market and hence a total separate dedicated team has been put into place to look after EPC Supply & Supervision.
Currently we are executing a project at Philippines for a captive cogeneration unit.
This group of deals with plants ranging from 12 to 75 MW. We have delivered over 30 plants in this range and have won recognition throughout India in handling various types of fossil fuels and have also delivered gas based Power Plants. The list of reference include:-

Power plant of various sizes are available. We cater to Small Scale Power Plants to Large Scale Scale power Plants, and have a vast experience in handling varied fuels. presently, we are executing orders worth 450 MW, with 450 MW already commissioned.
For EPC Projects ranging from 1 to 12 MW, Thermax has a deidicated group which caters to the requirements of the customers. A dedicated Engineering team, which is positioned in Chennai,TN and a project management team ensure that the project is on time, within a fixed budget and quality uncompromised.

With the advent of Independent Power Producers and the need for higher efficiencies, Thermax has ventured into the Large power Segment which is anything above 75 MW. We currently have a ceiling of 300 MW. This new EPC route is further encouraged by the Technology tie-up with Babcock & Wilcox USA, for the manufacturing of radiant boilers upto 800 MW in the sub-critical range. We are proud to let the customer know that this new addition has been received with encouragement from the industry fraternity.
