The macro and micro nutrients contained in coconut coir include: (K) Potassium, (P) Phosphorus, (Ca) Calcium, (Mg) Magnesium, (Na) Sodium and several other minerals. Cocopeats PH is 5.8 to 6.5, which is the perfect range for most types of plants. Cocopeat can also be used as a growing medium for hydroponic plants.

The Best Grade Of Coco Fiber
The best grade coco fiber are light in color, gold-yellow (fiber from unripe coconuts) or brown (fiber from ripe coconuts). Other uses of brown coir (made from ripe coconut) are in upholstery padding, sacking and horticulture. White coir, harvested from unripe coconuts, is used for making finer brushes, string, rope and fishing nets.
