A screw conveyor or feeder is a mechanism that uses a rotating helical screw blades, called Flight of Screw, usually within a Pipe, to convey granular materials. They are used in many bulk handling systems.
Rotary Airlocks are also usually known as Rotary Vane Feeders, Rotary Valves. It is a compact Mechanical Equipment for continuously Discharging Bulk Powders gradually into the process of a plant.
It is also a metering device, where the discharge capacity of a process plant is set by this Rotary valves. There is only one moving Part; a multi-vane rotor revolves in very close contact of housing. It has one Inlet at the Top and one Outlet at the Bottom.
The discharge capacity depends on the volume of Rotors Pocket, the no of revolutions of rotor in a minute & the bulk density of process-material.
This pneumatic conveying valve is designed with a tight pressure seal feature. It is more capable of closing/sealing the conveying of abrasive materials.

Telescopic chutes are used to fill the trucks without any dust emission. The discharge cone of the telescopic chute is placed on inlet of the tanker. The product in powder or granule form is automatically discharged into the tank. When the tank is full the sensor of the telescopic chute generates a signal to stop the product flow. An optional dust collector vacuums any remaining dust. The materials are generally unloaded into a closed bulkers mounted on the trucks or in the open trucks/wagons. A vent filter mounted on the top section or on the Silo top suck the return air, filters it and exhausts clean air into the atmosphere.
