Hardware Motion Characteristics:
Optical measurement instrument is driven by motor, which can move linearly along X axis (left and right), Y axis (up and
down) and Z axis (front and rear) in three dimensions. When measuring viewing angle, measured LCD can rotate within 90¡ã along ¦µ direction and within ¡À90 along ¦Èy direction. Measurement distance is in accordance with the needs defined in <>: three times as HDTV's height and four times as SDTV's height.
Stage Introduction:
FS-G series are used to measure optical characteristics of monitor from 17 to 65 inches, TV BLU, light-emitting panel, diffuser, brightness enhancement film, CCFL and LED Light bar Module.
Hardware Motion Characteristics:
Measured BLU is placed flat on the object-loading platform and is motionless when being measured. Optical measurement instrument is driven by motor and can move along X axis and Y axis linearly in two dimensions. It's possible to manually adjust measurement distance between optical instrument and measured BLU surface.
Object-loading platform can extend out/withdraw to place big sized measured BLU.
FS-G series' standard accessories are dark room with dark light-shielding cloth and options are sealed metal dark room with dark baking varnish.
FS-G3 Series Stage Introduction:
As CCFL light source's BLU needs to be warmed up for tens of minutes before measurement and begins measurement after luminance is steady, warm up process takes stage's most of time. FS-G3 series optical measurement stage, produced by FSTAR can warm up and measure multi plates of BLU at the same time so that stage and optical instrument's usage efficiency is greatly improved.

Since the commencement of high-definition TV broadcasting, there is an accelerating proliferation of high-quality display devices which support full HD for reproduction of sharp, high-resolution images. State-of-the-art technology is now achieving tone reproduction with contrasts of 100,000 : 1, offering an almost-real feeling. This has spurred technical competition for reproduction of "blacker blacks" in particular, resulting in the need for an instrument that can measure extremely low luminance.
In addition, the development of various light-emitting devices, including organic electroluminescent (EL) displays as well as conventional LCD and plasma displays, requires more accurate spectrum analysis. The CS-2000 is a polychromatortype spectroradiometer which achieves 100,000 : 1 contrast measurement with the world's top level capability to detect extremely low luminance levels of 0.003 cd/m2.

Low polarization error
The polarization error generated when using a reflection-type diffraction grating has been minimized to 2% (measuring angle: 1¡ã). This ensures more stable measurements of display devices that use polarization, such as LCDs.
Half bandwidth of 5 nm
A half bandwidth of 5 nm, which is required for colorimetry (JIS Z 8724-1997, CIE122-1996), is ensured for the entire wavelength range, allowing accurate chromaticity measurement.
