Multi-media filter uses one container filled with several types of filter media, normally the quartz sand or anthracitic coal.Quartz sand is used for removing the suspended particle in the water, while anthracitic coal for removing chemical heavy metal, etc. We can choose filtering media as per the water property. Multi-media filter is characterized by good filtering effect, low equipment cost(equal to two or several sets of filters), easy installation, space saving, etc. It is the necesssary filtering equipment for water treatment. It mainly used for removing corrosion, water softener, preprocessing of the pure water, the effluent turbidity can reach to lower than 3 degrees.
Composition of multi-media filter
A multi-media filter is mainly composed of a filter body, assorted pipe fittings and valves.
The filter body mainly consists of: a cylinder, a water distribution assembly, a supporting component, a backwash air pipe, filter materials, and an exhaust valve (externally installed).
Customer should let us know the water flow rate , the water inlet and outlet dia when inquiry or placing an order, thus, our engineers can design the equipment which is suitable for your using.
