Bituminous Coal is a versatile, mid-grade coal known for its high carbon content and energy efficiency. Widely used in power generation, industrial processes, and as a raw material in coke production, it offers excellent heat output and reliability.
With selected low ash low sulphur bituminous coal as raw material, adopted agglomeration process and steam activation. The sugar carbon produces good hardness and high internal surfance area with optimum pore size to adsorb color bodies and odor molecules from solution. It is acid washed to reduce ash and iron content which ensures the safer and cleaner treated solution. The carbon can be reactivated by thermal activation to reduce the overall cost.
The acid washed sugar carbon is used in organic sugar refining and decolorisation and purification of chemical industry such as lyrcine. succinic , organic esters soda ash etc
Sugar carbon impregnated with MgO is what we developed and applied successfully in cane sugar industry when exported to foreign customers.
