The specialty of the sensor is that we can measure the in situ temperature. So far, the widely popular technique is to monitor the battery temperature by placing a sensor adjacent to it. The RainWise Submersible Temperature Sensor may be used to measure either soil temperature or liquid temperature. The sensor is embedded in a PVC housing connected to a two-conductor cable.

This temperature sensor used to monitor the temperature of Ground/Surface water, lakes, pools, aquatic ponds, Soil, Ice, Road Temperature. The temperature sensing device is potted in a stainless steel probe mounted in a plastic enclosure and are coated with a sealant to withstand outdoor moisture.
