Bitumen Penetration Grade 80/100 is a standard penetration grade Bitumen usually used as a Paving Grade Bitumen suitable for road construction and for the production of asphalt pavements with superior properties. This grade of Bitumen is mainly used in the manufacture of hot mix asphalt for bases and wearing courses. Penetration Grade Bitumen supplied by ASI GLOBAL TRADE is petroleum grade bitumen, manufactured from fractional / vacuum distillation of crude oil. The Bitumen supplied by ASI GLOBAL TRADE is produced from vacuum residue (short residue) feedstock. Penetration Grade bitumens are specified by the penetration and softening point test. Designation is by penetration range only. The penetration grade bitumens have a thermoplastic property which causes the material to soften at high temperatures and to harden at lower temperatures. This unique temperature/ viscosity relationship is important when determining the performance parameters such as the adhesion, rheology, durability and application temperatures of bitumen.

Bitumen a black viscous mixture of hydrocarbons obtained naturally or as a residue from petroleum distillation. It is used for road surfacing and roofing. Bitumen is a mixture of Organic Liquids that are highly Viscous, Black, Sticky, Entirely Soluble in Carbon Disulfide, and composed primarily of highly condensed Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons. Naturally occurring or crude bitumen is a sticky, tar-like form of petroleum which is so thick and heavy that it must be heated or diluted before it will flow. At room temperature, it is much like cold molasses. Refined Bitumen is the residual (bottom) fraction obtained by fractional distillation of crude oil. It is the heaviest fraction and the one with the highest boiling point, boiling at 525 C (977 F).
Petroalliance are involved in import and the supply and trade of Bitumen Oil. This oil is a dark and viscous liquid which is sticky in texture. It is widely used in road construction, waterproofing, paints, enamels etc. It is available to clients in different types of settings at highly affordable prices. It is widely acclaimed amongst our client base for its supreme quality.
Uses of Bitumens
Bitumen is primarily used for construction and paving of roads. Its other uses are for Bituminous Waterproofing Products, including the use of bitumen in the production of roofing felt and for sealing flat roofs.
Penetration Bitumen 60/70 serves as a vital component in road construction projects. It is specifically engineered for optimal performance in such applications. It is imperative to adhere to the recommended usage guidelines and consult with the supplier before considering alternative applications. The properties and specifications of Bitumen 60/70 are rigorously tested to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Bitumen 60/70 is a high-quality asphalt grade known for its excellent stability and durability in road construction. With optimal viscosity, it is ideal for producing strong, long-lasting pavements that can withstand heavy traffic loads and diverse environmental conditions.
Bitumen Grade 60/70 is a high-quality, semi-solid petroleum product derived from the distillation of crude oil. Known for its excellent adhesive and waterproofing properties, this grade of bitumen is primarily used in the construction and maintenance of roads, runways, and other infrastructure projects.
