Structure
1) Outer Rubber Layer
The outer rubber layer that covers the outside of ship airbag to protect under layers from abrasion and other external forces. This compound has sufficient tensile and tearing strength to withstand any condition and hard usage.
2) Inner Rubber Layer
The inner rubber layer seals pressurized air inside ship airbags.
3) Synthetic-Tire-Cord Layer as Reinforcement
The reinforcement cord layers, which are made of synthetic-tire-cord commonly used in tires, are arranged at ideal angles to hold the internal pressure and distribute stress evenly. So they can provide strong efficient reinforcement.
Material
Ship rubber airbags for docking and undocking are constructed of synthetic-tire-cord layers; inner and outer rubber layers are sometimes added. All materials used are vulcanized.
Air tightness test: Without carrying any load, fill the air bag till the internal pressure of the air bag reaches rated working pressure. After 1 hour. The pressure loss should be less than 5 % of initial pressure.
Bursting test: Fill the air bag with water until the air bag bursts. The water pressure at the time of bursting shall be no less than three times of rated working pressure.
Introduction of oil tanker use pneumatic fender inflatable rubber bumper
Inflatable boat fender is the advanced anti-collision device for marine application in the world today. It uses compressed airbag as medium to absorb the impact energy when ship-to-ship contact(STS). It uses compressed air as medium to absorb the impact energy when ship-to-berthing(STB).
Application of inflatable boat fender
--Oil and gas tankers
--Fast ferries and aluminium vessels
--Temporary and permanent installations
-- Rapid response and emergencies
Structure of inflatable boat fender
1.Drawing of inflatable boat fender
Inflatable boat fenders made by an outer rubber, reinforcement synthetic-tyre-cord layer, and inner rubber, then shaping curing.
1.The outer rubbers are used to protect the cord layers and inner rubber from abrasion and other external forces. This rubber compound have sufficient tensile and tear resistance strength to withstand anticipated weather conditions and severe usage.
2.The reinforcement synthetic-tyre-cord layer strong enough to maintain the internal air pressure of the fender.
3.The inner rubber layer seals the pressurized air inside the fender.
Ship docking airbags, basic body consists of rubber layers, synthetic-cord-reinforced rubber layers, are kind of a cylindrical airbags with hemispherical heads at the both ends. All of these are vulcanized together, and then compress air inside to enable in to roll.
Material of Docking undocking rubber pontoon launching airbag
An airbag is to be constructed of an outer rubber layer, one or more synthetic-tyre-cord layers, and an inner rubber layer. The arrangement of synthetic-tyre-cord reinforcement layers is shown in the picture below, all materials shall be vulcanized firmly.
Prior to the airbag production, the outer and inner rubber layers shall be tested to meet criteria in the following table in accordance with the test methods given in the international standard list in the table.
While only one satisfactory sample per batch is required for test numbers 1 through 3, all others must be tested for test numbers 4 through 9 annually. If the first sample fails, two additional sample should be tested. If the additional samples pass the test requirements, the materials will be deemed to have passed the test. Otherwise, the materials will be deemed to have failed the test and another batch of materials shall be selected.
Application of ship docking airbag
1.For ship upgrading, conversion or new/repair launching (Ship launching airbags)
2.Marine airbag for salvaging sunken ship or heavy immersed steel structure
3.For hoisting and transporting heavy goods up to 10,000 tonnes structure on land

Features of pneumatic marine fender
(1) High energy absorption
The amount of energy absorbed is the main technical performance indicators fender instruments. With the ship's tonnage growth, berthing operations, ship collision energy contact quay or other ships also doubled. Huge collision energy must rely on the contact area on the fender and enough to absorb sufficient deformation. Fenders use compressed air as the buffer medium to absorb ship impact energy and have good elasticity.
(2) Ultra low back pressure
The inside air of pneumatic fenders is low pressure gas, the internal pressure increase is very limited during compression deformation. Due to the large contact area, unit pressure acting on the ship hull surface is very low, compared with other fender instruments, is not the common low back pressure.
(3) Inclined contact, good adaptability
Ship must have certain angle which have the possibility of contacting the side of the shore. As the inclined interface of pneumatic fender, its adaptability is much higher than other fender.
(4)Floating performance is good, not subject to tidal influence, fender can be maintained in the ideal level
Pneumatic marine fenders floating on the water surface (more than 50% of the volume), along with the change of position is not relative to the tidal fluctuation. Especially the ship as the waves rolling, cylindrical inflatable fenders with rolling, the friction force is very small. So it will not damage the coating surface of the hull, and also decrease the moving.
(5) Both end fender flange produced by special materials, acid and alkali resistance, oxidation resistance, not easy to rust.
(6)Florescence pneumatic marine fenders install easily and widely used in a variety of ships, large dock and a large variety of tidal dock.
Application of pneumatic marine fender
Pneumatic marine fenders are suitable for many applications including:
*Tankers, Gas Carriers and Bulk Cargo Ships;
*Fast ferries and aluminum hulled vessels;
*Temporary of permanent installations;
*Rapid response and emergency fendering;
*As stand-off fenders to realign ships with shore facilities.

Dia3.3m L6.5m ship to ship transfer yokohama type pneumatic fender
Pneumatic marine fender which is made of synthetic-cord-reinforced rubber sheet with compressed air inside to enable it to float on the water and work as a shock absorb between two ships (ship-to-ship), or between ships and berthing structures when they come alongside each other on the water.
Different types of pneumatic marine fender
1.Net Type
Net-type fenders are covered with a chain net, wire net or fiber net for small size fenders. Usually these nets have used-tires together with rubber sleeves for additional protection, except fiber net which has only rubber sleeves. Chain nets last longer against corrosion, while wire nets are light and more easily repaired.
2.Sling Type
Sling-type fenders Φ5001000L - Φ45009000L have an attachment eye on each end for lifting and installation. Handling of sling type fenders is easy due to their lightweight.
Advantages of pneumatic marine fender
*Easy and fast to deploy;
*Very low reaction and hull pressure;
*Performance adjustable by varying initial pressure;
*Suitable for areas with large or small tides;
*Maintains large clearances between hull and structure;
*Optional chain-tyre nets for heavy duty applications;
*Low maintenance.

How to choose suitable ship rubber airbags
1.If you have airbag size and quantity, then I can provide price to you.
2.If don't have, pls provide ship length,width and weight, then I can provide suitable airbag size and quantity for you.
We can provide airbag usage instruction for you, also can help you at site.
How to launch by rubber airbag
Step1: Prepare the launching slipway and related workers. As per calculation, select and check the appropriate marine airbags and quantity. Tidy up the launching slipway. Fix the ship by winch and anchors. Prepare all the necessary equipments.
Step2: Taking out all standing blocks under stern and middle one by one, and put in airbags. The distance between two rows should be confirmed as per the calculation.
Step3: Taking out all standing blocks under the prow. Run the winch and release the cable. Let the ship launch to water.
Step4: After launching, check all the deckhouse to confirm if there is any problem. Meanwhile, retrieving all the airbags.
Advantages of ship launching solution
1.Less land form limited
Only need enough bearing power ground and no sharp objects
2.Minimum fixture needed
Need no more than air compressors,winches and steel ropes
3.Environment Protective
Do no harm to the environment. No chemical needed.
4.Time & money saving
Marine airbags are much cheaper and portabler than other methods.
Inflatable ship landing airbag also known as rubber airbag, ship air bags, ship launching airbag, ship salvage airbag, boat salvage airbags, inflatable airbag, ship lifting bag, air balloon, made by rubber & multi layer of rubber-dipped tyre fabric. Airbags are widely used in launching and landing ship/ boat/vessel, lifting and moving heavy goods, salvaging stranded boats. Marine airbags are very popular with shipyard, ship owner, and marine supplies company now.
How to choose suitable ship landing rubber airbag
1.Length
Select the airbag's effective length not less than the maximum width of vessel or anything you want to move by airbags. But when you arrange two rows of airbags keep in mind to calculate the total length to avoid contact of airbags in two rows. The total length of airbags can be estimated to be effective length plus diamter. It says an airbag whose effective length is 16 meters and diameter is 1.5 m then its total length is 17.5 m.
2.Diameter
Diameter of airbag is decided by the height of your vessel's support blocks. If the support block is 1 m high, then you should choose airbag's diamter not less than 1.5 m. If you get 1.5 m high blocks, the airbag with 2m diameters will suits you well.
For air lift use, airbag's diameter or length is mainly decided by the buoyancy you need from airbag. And also consider the pressure of airbag stands if you apply airbags in deep water.
For caisson transport by marine airbags, the most suitable diameter is 0.8-1 m.
3.Layers
Launching airbag's performance is decided by its component layers. For air lift use or light vessel (launch weight).
If the ship weight below 500tons, airbag layers is 6layers or less than 6layers,based on ship type and usage frequency.
If the ship weight above 500tons, airbag layers is 8layers or more then 8layers, based on ship type and usage frequancy.
Florescence airbag layers from 3 to 10layers, customer regular layer is 4,5,6,7,8,10layers.
