Garlic is one of the oldest known seasoned plants and food flavoring, which managed to bring in itself to be a part of the culinary culture of many civilizations across the world. Garlic can be grown in a wide variety of soil conditions. Although a temperate crop, it is equally suitable for a wide range of climatic conditions, viz., temperate, tropical, and subtropical climates. Fresh garlic requires about 130 to 150 days to reach maturity.
