Ecosafe-sap is super absorbent bio polymers are primarily used as absorbent for biological fluids, water and aqueous solutions.
Ecosafe-sap super absorbent polymer can be employed in various applications. Such as in disposable sanitary products (i.E, diapers, incontinence articles, female hygiene products and absorbent dressings.) household articles, sealing materials (agriculture/horticulture), absorbent paper products, wound dressings and as chemical absorbents.
Furthermore ecosafe-sap also employed in applications related to the transportation of fresh food or sea food as well as in food packaging applications.
Polyacrylates obtain from the polymerization of monomers such acrylic acid and acrylamide. However their biodegradability is questionable, especially for higer molecular weight polymers, polyacrylates generally contain small amounts of residual monomeric starting materials i.E, acrylic acid and acrylamides possessing both toxic and allergenic potential.

Super absorbent polymer (SAP) is a polymer material with good water absorption and water-holding capacity.
It can absorb water up to several hundred times of its own weight, and turn into natural gel from within seconds. SAP can be mainly divided into three major categories which are Hygiene grade, Agriculture grade and Industry grade.

They may be homopolymers , Carbomers are found in the market as white and fluffy powders. They have the ability to absorb, retain water and swell to many times their original volume. Carbomers codes (910, 934, 940, 941 and 934P) are an indication of molecular weight and the specific components of the polymer .
Propylene carbonate (molecular formula: C4H6O3) is a colorless, odorless, flammable liquid. Miscible with ether, acetone, benzene, chloroform, vinyl acetate, etc., soluble in water and carbon tetrachloride. It has a strong ability to absorb carbon dioxide and is stable in nature. In industry, it is obtained by adding propylene oxide and carbon dioxide under a certain pressure, and then distilling under reduced pressure. It can be used as oily solvent, spinning solvent, olefin, aromatic hydrocarbon extractant, carbon dioxide absorber, dispersant for water-soluble dyes and pigments, etc.
Application
1. It can be used as an excellent medium for high-energy batteries and capacitors in the electronics industry.
2. In the polymer industry, it can be used as a solvent and plasticizer for polymers.
3. Used as a plasticizer for adhesives and sealants.
4. It can also be used as a phenolic resin curing accelerator and a dispersant for water-soluble adhesives, pigments and fillers.
5. The chemical industry is the main raw material for synthesizing dimethyl carbonate. It can also be used to remove
carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide from natural gas and petroleum cracking gas.
