Coco peat, also known as coir pith, is the fibrous material that is obtained from the outer husk of coconut shells. It is increasingly being used as a growing medium in horticulture and agriculture due to its many beneficial properties.
Coco peat is high in nutrients and organic matter, improves soil structure, water retention, and provides aeration to the soil so it is widely used for Soil amendment, Seed starting, Hydroponics, Potting mix and Animal bedding.
