Coir fibre is the major product that is extracted from the coconut husk. Coir fibres have a multitude of different applications and they are available in blocks and bales as well. The coir fibres are generally used in the production of ropes, mats and mattresses. The coir fibres that are extracted from the inner layer of the outer part of the coir husk are used in large scale production of the ropes, mattresses and brushes.
Coir fibre is also the main product used in manufacturing the geotextiles. Geotextiles have a wide range of uses. But it is mainly used in limiting the soil erosion. Soil erosion has become one of the most prevalent problems of our society. Although there are various methods for limiting it but the erosion can be successfully kept in check by the use of geotextiles. Moreover, the geotextiles are also used in various types of road works and for surrounding the dams.
Various sized pots manufactured with coir fibre and moulded with an organic rubber compound..
Pots will maintain their shape for up six months while plants are growing. The plant can then be planted in the ground with the pot. The pot will decompose over time.

Sazan Exporters is emerging exporter of natural Coir Fibre. This is extracted from matured green and brown Coconut Husks. It is then processed into the finest fibre which goes into the making of mattresses, door mats.
Coir Fibre is of two types brown and white. Coir obtained from fresh green Coconut is termed as White Fibre, which is finer than the Brown Fibre. The Brown Fibre is the outcome of Seasoned Fully Matured Coconuts which lose their green colour in the process.
Each of them has their own distinct types of applications. The Brown Fiber is widely used for fabrication of doormats, brushes, coir mattresses and other upholstery material whereas the White Fiber is used for making ropes, making fishing nets, and other eco-friendly Products.
Coconut fiber, obtained from unripe coconut, is a natural fiber extracted from the husk of coconut. The coconut is steeped in hot seawater, and subsequently, the fibers are removed from the shell by combing and crushing, the same process as jute fiber. The individual fiber cells are narrow and hollow with thick walls made of cellulose, and each cell is about 1 mm long and 10â??20 ¼m in diameter, as shown in Fig. 2.6. The raw coconut fibers show length varying from 15 to 35 cm and diameter from 50 to 300m. When they are immature and then become hardened and yellowed because a layer of lignin is deposited on their walls. Coconut fiber shows a good stiffness and is used in products such as floor mats, doormats, brushes, mattresses, coarse filling material, and upholstery
