We are among the largest exporters of refined cotton waste and yarn waste from India to various countries China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Germany, Russia, Italy, Portugal, Thailand, and Turkey known for their rigorous quality standards. We source cotton waste from select spinning mills and process it at our state-of-the-art workshops to produce contamination-free waste that has varied applications across key industries. We are recognized for delivering the best services, consistently meeting client demands, and instilling trust.
To obtain high-quality refind cotton waste, we handpick spinning mills that stand up to our stringent and specific criteria like production technology, capacity, quality and process control, quality compliance of finished prdoducts and ability to sustain and maintain timely performance. In addition, we ensure that international norms on child labor, environment, and society are adhered to, Our supply chain is primarily concentrated in India and in Gujarat State where most of the ginning and spinning industries are located.
These mills have varied systems in place where older mills use conveyor belts and new units have installed automated processes to collect and bale-press waste. Our preference of automated units ensures minimal human intervention across stages and cleaner and less contaminated cotton waste.
We further process cotton waste at our dedicated units to further reduce the impact of foreign contaminants like yarn, polyester etc and be quality compliant with stringent paper mills and surgical cotton standards. Other applications of cotton waste include paper making, surgical, O/E spinning, automobile industry, tissue paper, bedding, manuring for mushrooms and more.
Cotton yarn is a type of yarn made from cotton fibers. It is one of the most commonly used natural fibers in the textile industry due to its softness, breathability, and versatility.
Types of Cotton Yarn
Cotton yarn can be classified based on different factors:
a. Based on Fiber Length:
Combed Cotton Yarn: Made from long fibers, smoother, stronger, and less prone to fraying.
Carded Cotton Yarn: Made from shorter fibers, less uniform, and cheaper.
Compact Cotton Yarn: More compact spinning process, reduced hairiness, better strength.
b. Based on Processing:
Grey Cotton Yarn: Raw form, not bleached or dyed.
Bleached Cotton Yarn: Whitened for better color application.
Dyed Cotton Yarn: Pre-colored yarn for weaving or knitting.
c. Based on Count System (Thickness):
Ne (Number English): Higher number = finer yarn. E.g., Ne 20 is coarser than Ne 60.
Tex and Denier: Used in some countries as alternatives.
Yarn is a long continuous length of interlocked fibres, suitable for use in the production of textiles, sewing, crocheting, knitting, weaving, embroidery, or ropemaking. It can be made of a number of natural or synthetic materials, and comes in a variety of colors and thicknesses (referred to as "weights").
Yarns are made from both natural and synthetic fibre, in filament or staple form. Filament is fibre of great length, including the natural fibre silk and the synthetic fibres. Most fibres that occur in nature are of fairly short length, or staple, and synthetic fibres may be cut into short, uniform lengths to form staple.
Spinning is the process of drawing out and imparting twist to a mass of fibres. Filament yarns generally require less twist than staple. A fairly high degree of twist produces strong yarn; low twist produces softer, more lustrous yarn; and tight twist produces crepe yarns. Two or more single strands of yarn may be twisted together, forming ply yarn.
In yarns used for weaving, the warp, or lengthwise, yarns are usually made stronger, more tightly twisted, smoother, and more even than the filling, or crosswise, yarns. Knitting yarns have less twist than weaving yarns. Yarns used for machine knitting may be single or ply types; ply yarns are generally used for hand knitting. Thread, used for sewing, is a tightly twisted ply yarn having a circular cross section.
