From Aloevera leaves, we can extract aloevera pulp, which is usually in a semi liquid pulp form. In international market, the transportation of aloevera pulp is difficult. Moreover, in natural circumstances, this pulp have shelf life of 24 hours, after which, there is a possibility of bacterial contamination.
To increase the shelf life, various preservatives are used. As a result of those preservatives, the shelf life can be increased till 1 year.
