Aluminium chlorohydrate is a group of water-soluble, specific aluminum salts. It's white solid powder or colorless transparent liquid.
ACH stands for Aluminum Chlorohydrate, with CAS number 12042-91-0. Its Chinese names are hydroxyaluminum chloride, basic aluminum chloride, or polyaluminum chloride, and its molecular formula is Al2 (OH) 5Cl �· 2H2O. It is an inorganic polymer compound with a higher alkalinity (basicity) than polyaluminum chloride, second only to aluminum hydroxide. It undergoes bridging polymerization through hydroxyl groups, with the highest number of hydroxyl groups in the molecule.
