One complete equipment need one 40-feet container to hold.
Roll forming is a continuous metal forming process which bends or (forms˜ sheets, strips or coiled stock into predesigned shapes or profiles by passing the metal between successive pairs of rolls that increasingly (gradually) shape it till the desired cross section is achieved, thereby adding strength and rigidity to light weight metals. Except for a slight thinning of the metal at the bend radius, the metal thickness does not get altered.
Almost any material that can be formed to the desired radius at room temperature can be roll-formed. The more ductile the material, the better it will form. This process can handle ferrous, non-ferrous, hot rolled, cold rolled, polished, plated or pre-painted materials as well.
Metals as thin as 0.127 mm and as thick as 19 mm can be roll formed depending on the machinery.
Normally cross sectional tolerances from +/- 0.25 mm to +/- 0.78 mm can be achieved but if better tolerances are enquired, a material that is amenable to such tolerance should be chosen.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Cold forming section steel production line is used to roll and form cold & hot rolling steel into all kinds of open cold-forming sectional steel like C-shaped steel, U-shaped steel, L-shaped steel and guard fence plates of freeway, etc. This line can also produce the different sizes of steel sheet piling used in the tunnel construction and foundation field. At the same time, it can work matching with the relative punching machine to satisfy more different requirement of clients.

Infeed Section: This section is mainly used for loading and feeding the material, which is mostly in the form of continuous cut sheets or in continuous coils depending on the final product to be processed.
Roll Forming Section: This section is mainly for the processing of the incoming sheet. It contains a roll forming system with multiple rollers, as well as drives, power systems and infrastructure. The main purpose is to continuously process the profiles that pass through the roll forming section to achieve the desired metal component.
Shearing Section: After the continuous processing of the profile, the profile is cut to the required nominal length according to the specified length.
Exit Section: After the complete processing procedure has been realised, to prevent the finished product from falling, a table is added to carry out the storage of the finished profile.
Control System: A PLC control system is used to achieve a fully automated production mode and to realise the processing accuracy and cutting precision.
Additional Kit: When carrying out production, there may be many additional needs, such as printing logos, straightening, embossing, etc. We offer professional straightening machines, as well as embossing machines. This ensures that the workpiece is formed in a single pass.
