What is Methylpyrrolidone?

Methylpyrrolidone, also known as NMP or 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone). NMP (N-Methylpyrrolidone) highly polar organic solvent used in a variety of industries and applications. Colorless transparent oily liquid with a slight amine odor. It is soluble with water, alcohols, ethers, esters, ketones, halogenated hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons and castor oil.
