Submerged pump [1] is a positive pressure conveying vertical pump, which can effectively solve the problem of air resistance and cavitation. The explosion-proof level of the conveyed material determines the submerged pump products with different structure, working principle, classification, scope of application, product advantages and disadvantages and mode of operation, which can be simply divided into two categories of traditional submerged pumps (explosion-proof outside the tank 1 area, 0 area inside the tank is not explosion-proof) and new type of submerged pumps (explosion-proof outside the tank 1 area, explosion-proof inside the tank 0 area).
Submerged pumps are vertical pumps in which the impeller, pump body, and other flow-through parts are submerged in the material being conveyed, and are connected to the motor by a shaft.
