T-316 stainless steel is recognized as the second most widely available of all stainless steels in the wire mesh industry. T-316 stainless steel wire mesh is typically considered an alternative grade to T-304 stainless steel wire mesh and preferred in certain circumstances. Particularly, in marine environments and in applications requiring heavy welding, T-316 stainless steel is commonly specified due to its many benefits.
T-316 stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance, and in particular, performs well in its ability to resist pitting and crevice corrosion in warm chloride environments. The inclusion of molybdenum (Mo) is a major factor for the improved corrosion resistance compared to a T-304 stainless steel counterpart.
T-316 stainless steel is heat resistan
t a nd has good oxidation resist resistance to a temperature of approximately 1600°F in intermittent service and to a temperature of 1700°F in continuous service. T-316 SS is also excellent for fabrication purposes :it can be formed and cut to size with appropriate tools and machinery. It also has outstanding weldability, and it is virtually non-magnetic in the annealed condition.
T-316 stainless steel is available in both woven and welded constructions-both from stock and through custom manufacturing.

The Tire derived Steel or Tire Wire Scrap is a light melting scrap obtained during the shredding and granulation process of used tires.
Generally 10% - 20% of the weight of an old passenger car tyre usually consists of steel. An average shredding plant produces about 100-200 MT of steel tyre wire and its quality can vary according to technology, storing and management systems adopted by the producing plants.
We can provide tire wire scrap that still contains up to 20% rubber/fiber. This percentage is detected by manual separation test.
The material can be loaded loose in 40 HC container.

316 is the standard molybdenum-bearing grade, second in importance to 304 amongst the austenitic stainless steels. The molybdenum gives 316 better overall corrosion resistant properties than 304, particularly higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. It has excellent forming and welding characteristics. It is readily brake or roll formed into a variety of parts for applications in the industrial, architectural, and transportation fields. 316 also has outstanding welding characteristics. Post-weld annealing is not required when welding thin sections.
316L, the low carbon version of 316 and is immune from sensitisation (grain boundary carbide precipitation). Thus it is extensively used in heavy gauge welded components (over about 6mm).
316H, with its higher carbon content has application at elevated temperatures, as does stabilised grade 316Ti.
The austenitic structure also gives these grades excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures
