Application

3. Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) can be added into cement paste together with water or after mixing, while the latter approach is preferred.
4. The quantity of water must be strictly controlled when Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) is applied, since slump loss of concrete is closely related to it.

Naphthalene Sulfonate (UNF-5) concrete admixture, a high range water reducer with no air entraining, is commonly referred to as a superplasticizer, also named Naphthalene Sulfonate Formaldehyde Condensate (NSF), SNF, PNS, etc..

Naphthalene Sulfonate (UNF-5) concrete admixture is made of naphthalene, sulfonic acid, formaldehyde and alkali through sulphuration, hydrolyzation, condensation and neutralization reaction. Naphthalene Sulfonate (UNF-5) concrete admixture contains no chloride. It complies with chemical admixture specifications for concrete: ASTM C 494, Type F; ASTM C 1017.

Application
1.Naphthalene Sulfonate (UNF-5) concrete admixture is suitable to make autotrophic concrete, steam curing concrete, steel concrete and prestress concrete, all of which are made mainly of portland cement.
