Chemours ISCEON MO59 (R417A) is an HFC retrofit refrigerant that is cost-effective and ozone-friendly, used to retrofit equipment that uses R22, such as air conditioning (AC) and medium-temperature commercial refrigeration systems.

Applications:

Residential and commercial air conditioning systems.
Note: For water-cooled systems, MO29 is recommended.

Medium temperature refrigeration, commonly used in commercial units, including food service, supermarket display cases, and food storage/processing.
Benefits:

Efficient and cost-effective retrofits.
Ozone-friendly, does not harm the ozone layer.
In most cases, no need to change lubricant type during the retrofit process; compatible with traditional and new lubricants.
No need to replace existing equipment.
After the retrofit, MO59 can be topped off without needing to drain the refrigerant.

Recommended lubricants:

Mineral Oil (MO), Alkylbenzene (AB), and Polyol Ester (POE) in most cases, no lubricant change is required during the retrofit process.
