The main constituent of Hydrogenated castor Oil PH 40 is glycerol polyethylene glycol hydroxy- stearate, which, together with fatty acid glycerol polyglycol esters, forms the hydrophobic part of the product. The hydrophilic part consists of polyethylene glycols and glycerol ethoxylate.
