Corrtech silicon iron anodes are made by chill casting in metal mould. The anodes have high density, compact crystal structure and low consumption rate, thus have longer life than other anode.
We produce this kind of anodes according to astm a518-86(grade 3) standard. They are made by chill cast technology, and have much higher performance and better quality than normal sand mould casting.
Alloy composition
The alloy contains chromium which is preferable suited to situations where chlorine or other aggressive agents may be generated by electrolysis (e.G. In seawater or in deep well ground beds).
