Chrome-free lignosulfonate is a drilling mud thinner produced by multi chemical reactions followed by drying of natural high molecular weight compound, organic material and harmless metal ions. The product contains no Chromium heavy metal and is ideal for use in drilling at densely populated area and offshore.

1. Thinning performance
Test results indicate the thinning performance in fresh water based mud under normal temperature is comparable to ferrochrome lignosulfonate (fcls). At elevated temperature, it performs better than fcls in either fresh water or salt-water based mud, particularly the later. The product is suitable for use in drilling under complex geological formation, in water with high tds, or in offshore drilling.
2. Good fluid loss control properties
Its major advantage is the thinning effect in drilling mud with high solid content, and simultaneously controls the fluid loss. Its fluid loss control action is better than fcls and the mud cake formed is smooth and compressible, thus beneficial for well bore protection and fluid loss reduction under high-pressure condition.
3. Higher retention of solid
The product has improved solid retaining capacity due to its excellent thinning properties. Even when the mud is mixed with large quantity of clay while drilling, the rock scarps can still maintain good mobility. In addition it is capable of withstanding contamination by calcium, magnesium and sodium electrolytes, making it an ideal thinning agent for heavy weight mud.
4. Recommended dosage
For salt water and fresh water based mud, a range of 0.5 to 1.0% is recommended depending on the specific conditions. Under special situations such as high solid and metal electrolytes content, a slight increase in dosage is recommended but not to exceed 2.0%.

Operation methods :
1. 0.2-0.5% of mixing amount in concrete (with cement weight), users can adjust the mixing amount through the test ;
2. Can use after mixed liquid , also can put with cement , aggregate into mixer to use at the same time too, need lengthen time properly;
3. The result is more obvious after mixing with high-efficient naphthalene department water-reducing agent. User can determine the suitable dosage according to the result that cement variety, aggregate situation, naphthalene department type of water-reducing agent are tested fixing.

Sodium Naphthalene Sulphonate Formaldehyde, Poly Naphthalene Sulfonate Formaldehyde Condensate,Concrete Admixture
Uses:
Sodium Naphthalene Sulphonate Formaldehyde produces concrete with extremely workable characteristics referred to as high slump. PNS also allows concrete to be produced with very low water/cement ratios at low or normal slumps.
Sodium Naphthalene Sulphonate Formaldehyde is ideal for use in prestress, precast, bridge deck or any concrete where it is desired to keep the water/cement ratio to a minimum and still achieve the degree of workability necessary to provide easy placement and consolidation
Addition Rates:
Sodium Naphthalene Sulphonate Formaldehyde can be added directly or added in after melt. It can be added during mixing and after-mixing. The afterward approach can achieve better result. The suggested addition rate is 0.75%.

Prepare solutions as required.
Direct use of powdery agent is allowed. Alternatively the addition of the agent is followed by water moisturization (water-cement ratio: 60%).
The agent can be combined with other externally applied agents if pilot development or laboratory experiment succeeds.

C. The methods of use
1.The excellent thinning property of fcls, which shows powerful anti-electrolytes capacity. And it is suitable to all kinds of dispersed mud.
2. Be effective at temperature more than 150~160.It can get better effect when cooperated with lignite derivatives.
3. Fcls may be added into drilling fluid in the form of aqueous solution or powder. To keep ph index at 9.5~10.5, the recommended dosage of thinner is 0.5~1.0 %.
