Product overview
This product is combined several types of anti-freezing organic and inorganic anti-freezing components with accelerating components. It is mainly applied in fresh concrete and precast concrete units in winter constructions. This product meets JC473 standard.

Method and cautions
Dosage (total cementitious materials): Powder 2.0~3.0%, Liquid 2.0~3.0%
Powder admixture can be added with binding materials, liquid with mixing water. Increase mixing time properly. Hot water helps to improve its performance.
In winter constructions, no ice, snow or freezing elements in aggregate materials. Raw materials should be pre-heated if possible.
After pouring, cover plastic film and enhance thermal insulation curing.
The optimum mix design needs to be determined by the requirements of the project, specialties of materials and mixture tests before usage.
The feasibility of combination with other admixtures needs to be conformed by mixture tests.
This powder product is packed into plastic knitting bags, 50 kg/bag; the liquid product is packed into plastic barrel, 250kg/BBL or transported by tankers.
During storage, it needs to be prevented from moist, broken packed and high temperature. The effective duration is one year. Expired product needs to be determined by tests.
This product is not inflammable or explosive and need to be well kept.
Description
YL-15 is naphthalene-based non-corrosive, non-chlorine compound antifreeze admixture which compounded with water-reducing, early-strength, reducing the freezing point, preventing freezing damage etc. ingredients, powder, it has early-strength, water-reducing, air-entraining, anticorrosion etc. functions. It is mixed to the concrete according to the request, can obviously improve the configuration of the capillary pores and reduce free-water and the freezing point of the concrete effectively. And it can accelerate cement hydration and concrete hardening under the low temperature condition, enhance the early strength greatly and make the strong more and more by time, is ideal admixture for construction in winter.
Uses
YL-15 is suitable for the winter construction (in ambient temperatures ranging from -5 degree to -20 degree) of common concrete, pumping concrete, large volume concrete and ready mixed concrete.
Advantage
YL-15 is a new generation of high efficient anti-freezing admixture. Small dosage, completely water soluble, low alkali, apparent reducing effect on the alkali-aggregate reaction. It can improve the workability, pumping properties and early strength of the concrete.
YL-15 is suitable for concrete and precast below C50 but also the concrete above C50 with a addition of our high range water reducing admixture.

Cautious
1.After the pouring construction covers the surface using the plastic sheeting and the grass curtain, do not let it to freeze immediately or blow the winds excessively caused the crack. Entering the mold temperature control above 5 degree.
2.Required heating curing at the early strength fast-enhancement. After the concrete formed, if the surface iced up, this phenomenon does not cause any the freezing damage. The intensity will remain enhancing rapidly, when the ambient temperature increasing.
Package, Storage & Shelf Life
For powder: Woven plastic bag with film liner. Net weight: 25kg +/- 0.2 kg.
It should be stored in a dedicated warehouse that is well-ventilated and dry and keep away from moisture.
Shelf Life: Minimum 12 months. After the expiration date, it can be used if testing results is qualified.
