The correct combination of Air Filled Porosity (AFP) and Water Holding Capacity (WHC) for plant growth.
Green Roots blends are formulated to stabilize the substrate for periods spanning 2 - 5yrs
An excellent amendment to garden soil, coco coir is an organic substance that increases the potting soil's capacity for absorption, water retention, and drainage.
Green Roots blocks are manufactured consistently using our raw materials. The raw materials are washed, dried & compressed into 5 kg blocks for your convenience. It can be used in planters, gutters and pots. The blocks are made out of different mixtures (with husk chips and coir fiber) to suit the buyersâ?? growing requirements. It is reconstituted to get a yield of 70 â?? 75 liters per block.
Features:
It's from 100% organic and renewable resource (organic matter is about 90%).
Neutralizes the soluble chloride level to the allowed limit for plant growth.
Balanced lignin level which retains the media for years together and can be used for different crops.
High moisture retaining capacity due to the air porosity.
Intensively washed to keep the optimum level of soluble salt
Free from nematodes.
Good aeration for the roots.

Coco peat is a natural, sustainable, and biodegradable growing medium made from coconut husks, primarily used in horticulture and agriculture. It's a versatile material used for seed germination, rooting, hydroponics, and soil improvement.
Detailed Description:
Origin:
Coco peat is the non-fibrous, spongy part of the coconut husk, a by-product of coconut fiber extraction.
Processing:
It undergoes a series of processes including washing, drying, sieving, and grading to ensure quality and suitability for different applications.
Forms:
Coco peat is available in various forms, including loose dust, pressed bricks, and briquettes, catering to different needs and preferences.
Properties:
It is lightweight, porous, and has a high water-holding capacity, making it ideal for promoting root growth and plant health.
Benefits:
Sustainable and Biodegradable: Coco peat is a natural and renewable resource that decomposes in the environment.
Excellent Water Retention: It can absorb and retain water, ensuring plants have access to adequate moisture.
Good Aeration: The porous structure allows for proper aeration of roots, promoting healthy growth.
Sterile and Weed-Free: Processing removes dirt, pathogens, and weeds, ensuring a clean and healthy growing environment.
Versatile: Used in hydroponics, seed germination, soil amendment, and as a potting mix component.
Applications:
Horticulture: Used in nurseries, greenhouses, and garden applications.
Agriculture: Used in soil improvement, crop production, and soilless farming.
Hydroponics: A popular substrate for growing plants without soil.
Coco peat, also known as coir pith, is the fibrous material that is obtained from the outer husk of coconut shells. It is increasingly being used as a growing medium in horticulture and agriculture due to its many beneficial properties.
Coco peat is high in nutrients and organic matter, improves soil structure, water retention, and provides aeration to the soil so it is widely used for Soil amendment, Seed starting, Hydroponics, Potting mix and Animal bedding.

for cultivating of plant Mixed with sand, compost and fertilizer to make good quality potting soil. Coco peat generally has an acidity in the range of pH - 5.5 to 6.5. It is a little on the acidic side for some plants, but many popular plants can tolerate this pH range.
Being a good absorbent, dry coco peat can be used as an oil absorbent on slippery floors. Coco peat is also used as a bedding in animal farms and pet houses to absorb animal waste so the farm is kept clean and dry. Coco peat is hydrophilic unlike sphagnum moss and can quickly reabsorb water even when completely dry. Coco peat is porous and cannot be overwatered easily.
It is also used as plant bag and available in different sizes. We offer this product in many shape and size as per clients requirements. A spongy material that binds the coconut fibre in the husk, coir pith is finding new applications.
