Scope

The aniline point is used to characterize the pure hydrocarbon and is used to show the aromatics content of the hydrocarbon mixture. Take the same amount of aniline with the sample or sample plus n-heptane and heat and stir at the controlled rate. After the two phases are homogeneous, the mixture is cooled at the control rate, and the temperature of the two-phase re-separation is an aniline point or a mixed aniline point of the sample.
