Technical Information
- Non corrosion
- Does not affect the adhesion force between reinforcement and concrete
- Steel storage time after treatment with Rust Coverter:
+ 6 months for normal environment
+ 1 month for marine and industrial environment
- Drying time is 1-2 hours and completely dry after 24 hours
Application steps
- Steel surface before being treated should blow away dirt, dry and free from grease
- Spray onto the steel surface to be treated. Spray 2 coats. Each spray is 20-30 minutes apart
- Work in dry conditions. Avoid direct contact with water or rain when the product is not completely dry (Completely dry product after 24 hours)
Important Note
If the product is in direct contact with water or rain when the product is not completely dry then will create white salt on the surface of the steel bar. This salt does not affect the properties of steel, concrete. Conducting water spray to wash white stains on the surface of the steel bar and let it dry and then apply the next steps

Product must be stored in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions

1. PRODUCT OVERVIEW
VHM joint made by VinhHung Investment and
Production Co., Ltd (VinhHung IP) are composed of
multiple steel rails in combination with supporting
beams and special structural accessories.
VHM - modular expansion joint accomodates to
longitudinal movement from 160mm and above.
The expansion joints are connected to the bridge
deck through the anchoring reinforced system.
Rubber seal serves as drainage trough and protect
the system from dust and debris.
2. PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
: Design and manufacture according to AASHTOLRFD, TCVN 11823 â?? 2017 standards.
: Allow longitudinal movement of up to 720mm,
vertical and horizontal movements are in
accordance with AASHTO standards.
: Be able to withstand high load with stable
and durable structure.
: Ensure level and smooth surface for traffic.
: Each center beam is fixed with an independent
supporting bar, which satisfies the requirement of
the fatigue limit C (AASHTO 2007).
: Protected with high anti-corrosive coating layer
and treated with anti-slip coating technology.
: Totally watertight.

1. PRODUCT OVERVIEW
VHF finger expansion joint made by Vinh Hung Investment and Production Co., Ltd (VinhHung IP), includes 2 types: Cantilever VHF-C and over-gap
VHF-O, according to:
AASHTO LRFD standards
ASTM D354292 (2003) standards VHFC and VHFO are integrally manufactured with high accuracy finger plates and accessories such as bolts, rubber sheet/water prevention steel
plates which help facilitate new construction and installation as well as inspection and maintenance works in service.
VHFC and VHFO accommodate to medium movement to big movement and can be used for both straight and skew bridges.
2. PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
Totally accommodate to medium and large
longitudinal movements, and also vertical and
transversal movement if any.
Simple installation, maintenance and
replacement, which allows to replace individual
finger plates in short period of time and for each
lane.
High loading resistance capacity, especially the
moving load.
Also available for skew bridges.
Rubber seal system is designed to be totally
water-tight and prevent dust and debris.
Can be designed to be compatible with different
thicknesses of bridge decks.
To ensure the long-lasting durability, VHF finger
expansion joints are protected from corrosion with
methods such as: 2-component epoxy coating, PUbased painting (Polyurethane), hot dip galvanization
according to ASTM A123 standards and especially
the Al Mg spraying method (at the ratio of 5% Al and
95% Mg) which ensures anti-corrosion durability of
up to 100 years, proven by salt-spraying test in 6000
hours (8-hour dry-wet cycle repetition) under ASTM
B117 standards.
