Grade Standard Description
IS 2062 E250 / E350 / E410 Indian Standard (IS) Structural steel used widely in India for poles. Higher grades (E350, E410) have better strength.
ASTM A36 ASTM (USA) Mild steel commonly used in structural applications, often galvanized post-fabrication.
