Our Thai Hom Mali (Jasmine) rice comes from our partners rice mills in the Surin and Yasothon provinces in Thailand. Thai Hom Mali rice is primarily grown in Thailand, with the finest, in our opinion, from the Surin province. This is a long grain variety of rice that has a subtle floral aroma and a soft, sticky texture when cooked. The grains are also shorter and thicker than Basmati rice. Different ages of this rice are available, from 'New Crop' (October to January) to 1 and 2 year old rice.
