The humanoid figure, representing the meaning of "guardianship", is one of ancestral totems of the tao (yami) tribe in the orchid island. Now it could always be seen on the traditional handmade boats called "dadala" in the tao (yami) langauge. Transforming the totem into a graceful lace-like shape on the lampshade to make the home be alive with "guardianship" of the tao (yami) tribe through the projection of the light.
