Originating from the genus Pistacia, the species Pistacia vera is native to the Near East, Mediterranean and Western Asia. The green seed, which is the pistachio nut, is in a crusty shell that is being cracked during consumption. Pistachio kernels are very popular as a snack but also are used as an ingredient in meat products like salami or sausages, or in the confectionary industry as a part of chocolate, cakes, Turkish Delight, baklava, ice cream and other traditional Turkish sweets.
Pistachio is growing in east of Turkey. It is mainly growing in Gaziantep, Siirt and Batman cities.Their tastes are different according to the their types and lands they are growing. Siirt pistachios rebeled to wild pistacia trees therefore have a unique taste. They are dried with machine and also selected, roasted, salted and packed with automatic machines in high hygienic standarts. We can offer our customers in 250 gr, 500 gr easy open and close bags and 1000 gr Pu laminated kraft boxes with the customers brand names and logo printed. We also can offer in PU Laminated 10kg and 25 kg bags. Our products are certified with ISO22000,BRC and IFS and are sold in European countries.

Pistachio nuts
Pistachio (Pistacia vera), small tree of the cashew family (Anacardiaceae) and its edible seeds. Grown in dry lands in warm or temperate climates. The seed kernels can be eaten fresh or roasted and are commonly used in a variety of desserts, including baklava, halvah, and ice cream. They are also used for yellowish-green colouring in confections. The seeds are high in protein, fat, dietary fibre, and vitamin B6.
