Bright citric acidity, nice full body, butterscotch, cinnamon, milk chocolate, sweet, hints of orange and spice, solid coffee flavor, soft but lasting finish.

So far we like this roasted to solid American (medium, preferred) well into Full City (dark enough to enjoy a light bittersweet note without completely losing the nature of the bean).

Dry Aroma: Butterscotch, chocolate, pear

Brewed Aroma: Milk chocolate, butterscotch, sweet, hints of citrus and floral

Papua New Guinea on the eastern side of the Island of New Guinea is located just North of Australia and the Great Barrier Reef and lies just east of Sulawesi Indonesia. The fertile Waghi valley in the Western Highlands Province lies between the Bismark and Kubor mountain ranges encompassing an area of only 6o Km by 80 Km. Coffee is Papua New Guineasâ?? major income-producing crop with two-fifths of the Countriesâ?? people earning their livings from coffee. Waghi valley produces one-third of Papua New Guinea Arabica Coffee. Discovered to be one of the oldest places on Earth for farming, the people of the Waghi Valley have been planting and harvesting food for about 9,000 years.

Regional coffee varietals are Bourbon, Blue Mountain, Arusha, typical, and Mundo Novo.

These are nice size beans, very clean, and easy to roast even for Beginners. You should be able to hear both Cracks with most roasting methods or use color to determine the roast level as they have been producing nice even roasts.
