Urban Farming Initiative or we like to call it UFI is a Sarawak (Malaysia) based company that strive to be apart of the solution for sustainable regenerative farming, food security issues and bio-transformation of organic resources. Our organic fertilizer is produced entirely by black soldier fly (BSF) larvae in combination with effective microorganism using only plant based organic materials.
Apart from the typical benefits from organic fertilizers such as slowly release nutrients, improves soil structure, water holding capacity and soil pH. Our BSF organic fertilizer has its specialized features such as follows.
1. BSF larvae molted several times during growth. The remaining exoskeleton contains chitin and several amino acids that stimulates plantâ??s immune system against pest and diseases. It also significantly improves plantâ??s drought resistant.
2. It is also packed with enzymatically digested organic material which is the perfect food source for local earthworm species. It acts as an attractant and food source for the local earthworm to breed and populate within the soil further increasing nutrient availability, soil fertility, drainage and soil structure.
3. High quality and consistency at a great price. Our semi-automated facility with a controlled production standard helps optimize the performance of our organic fertilizer and its available at a very competitive price.

Why rubber tree require BESTEX.
Exploitation of rubber trees constantly accompanied by the use of stimulant products will cause the tree to become dry ( known as dry bark ). Usually , the dry bark trees will be rested ( no tapping ) for some time, cut down or left untreated.
In the exploitation, the use of stimulant products can also help increases the production of latex. However the test proved that DRY RUBBER CONTENT (DRC) will be low. Because stimulants , absorb more water from the soil eventually increases the water content in the latex.
Dry bark trees can be cured by using BESTEX. Use of BESTEX to healthy trees can also protect from dry bark.
Many test has been carried out to proof BESTEX in accordance with the recommended dosage and method would boost latex production by 50% - 150% or even more with same level of DRC or even better than before the use of BESTEX.
