RBD Palm Olein is the liquid fraction of RBD Palm Oil. Owing to its high stability, it is especially suitable as a frying (shallow & deep) oil. RBD Palm Olein is available in a wide range of cloud points and IVs. IV 60 and above is classed as Superolein, have a lower melting point than standard Olein and is also a much clearer liquid and lends itself to consumer packing in PET Bottle
Packing options include Flexibag, Jerry Can, Bag-In-Box, Paper IBC with Heating Pad & PET Bottle
Anti-oxidant & anti-foaming agent optional
RSPO certification available
Palm shortening is RBD Palm Oil which has undergone an additional process called votating (texturisation). Palm Shortening is great for frying and used extensively in baking & pastry. Palm shortening is available in various slip melting point ranges to suit the different market conditions.
Packing options include Carton
RSPO certification available
RBD Palm Oil is refined from Crude Palm Oil and can be fractionated into two main products, olein and stearin. Owing to its melting range, RBD Palm Oil will be solid at ambient temperature in most countries. It can be used for a range of food & non-food applications and is popular as a non-liquid frying medium.
Packing options include Flexibag & Carton
RSPO certification available
This research work is about the production of biodiesel from jatropha oil. Other oils can also be used for the production, but jatropha was chosen because it is not edible therefore, it will not pose a problem to humans in terms of food competition. Before the transesterification process was carried out, some basic tests such as free fatty acid content, iodine value, and moisture content were carried out. This was done so as to ascertain quality yield of the biodiesel after the reaction.
Palm oil is an edible vegetable oil derived from the mesocarp (reddish pulp) of the fruit of the oil palms. The oil is used in food manufacturing, in beauty products, and as biofuel. Palm oil accounted for about 33% of global oils produced from oil crops in 2014.The use of palm oil has attracted the concern of environmental groups due to deforestation in the tropics where palms are grown, and has been cited as a factor in social problems due to allegations of human rights violations among growers. An industry group formed in 2004 to create more sustainable and ethical palm oil, through the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil. However, very little palm oil is certified through the organization, and some groups have criticized it as greenwashing.
Corn oil has a variety of uses, both in cooking and non-cooking applications. Its used as an industrial cleaner and lubricant, as well as to make fuel for gasoline- and diesel-powered engines. Plus, its included in many cosmetic products, liquid soaps, and shampoos. Still, its best known as a frying oil. It has a very high smoke point (the temperature at which oil begins to burn) of about 450F (232C), making it ideal for deep-frying foods to perfect crispness without burning them .Corn oil is widely available, making it a popular choice for home cooks. It can be purchased at almost any grocery store and used in many ways.
Canola oil is also very high in healthier unsaturated fats. It's higher in the omega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid than any other oil except flaxseed oil. is particularly important to have in your diet because your body can't make it. Studies show that may help protect the heart through its effects on blood pressure, cholesterol, and inflammation. The FDA allows canola oil makers to label their products with a qualified health claim that theres "limited and not conclusive" scientific evidence that switching out saturated fat for the same amount of canola oil may reduce risk of heart disease.
Sunflowers have a large flower head, usually with a large, almost black central part which is made up of thousands of tiny florets that later become seeds set in a spiral pattern. The petals are typically bright yellow, although some varieties are orange or red. Its stem is rough and hairy while the leaves large and rough with coarse jagged edges. Sunflowers typically grow to between one and a half and three and a half metres, with some giant variants reaching up to eight metres.
Soybean oil is a vegetable oil extracted from the seeds of the soybean. As a drying oil, processed soybean oil is also used as a base for printing inks and oil paints, To produce soybean oil, the soybeans are cracked, adjusted for moisture content, heated to between 60 and 88 °C (140â??190 °F), rolled into flakes, and solvent-extracted with hexanes.
The oil is then refined, blended for different applications, and sometimes hydrogenated. Soybean oils, both liquid and partially hydrogenated are sold as "vegetable oil", or are ingredients in a wide variety of processed foods. Most of the remaining residue (soybean meal) is used as animal feed.
Per 100 g, soybean oil has 16 g of saturated fat, 23 g of monounsaturated fat, and 58 g of polyunsaturated fat.[8][9] The major unsaturated fatty acids in soybean oil triglycerides are the polyunsaturated alpha-linolenic acid (C-18:3), 7-10%, and linoleic acid (C-18:2), 51%; and the monounsaturated oleic acid (C-18:1), 23%.[10] It also contains the saturated fatty acids stearic acid (C-18:0), 4%, and palmitic acid (C-16:0), 10%.
