Used as crosslinked monomer in acrylic emulsion. Acrylic acid (AA) can both provide hydrogen protons and copolymerize with acrylates, so MMAM should be used as a composite crosslinking agent with AA at a dosage of 3:2. Cross-linking agent HA can replace N- hydroxymethyl acrylamide, and does not contain formaldehyde.
